Dear Captains, As we bid farewell to 2024, we reflect on a year filled with challenges and triumphs. Many of us, as individuals and as a community, have faced moments of uncertainty. Yet, through it all, we have remained resilient, hopeful, and dedicated to moving forward. With the arrival of 2025, we are optimistic, trusting that the New Year will bring fresh opportunities and possibilities.

Reflecting on 2024: 2024 has been a hectic and productive year for Turkish Virtual. It is gratifying to see our community continue to grow, thrive, and achieve new milestones. Our passion for flight simulation remains stronger than ever, and Turkish Virtual holds a special place in all our hearts.
None of this would have been possible without you—our dedicated pilots, members, and staff. Your unwavering support and enthusiasm have made Turkish Virtual the outstanding and vibrant community it is today. We sincerely thank each of you for your contributions, big or small, throughout the year.

- Statistics show that 2024 has been much more successful for Turkish Virtual than 2023 and even previous years. We achieved a flight rate close to the surge in flights during the pandemic. To put it this way, if we set aside the increase in flight numbers during the pandemic due to its unique circumstances, 2024 has been the most successful year for Turkish Virtual, achieving the highest number of flights since its founding in 2001.
April 2024 was the month with the highest number of Turkish Virtual flights, totalling '3,027' flights.

Software and Infrastructure Updates: In 2024, we launched 5 versions of our Flight Recorder (FDR) software, introducing 32 updates and enhancements. Alongside this, we implemented a range of infrastructure improvements on our website and forums, optimizing performance and user experience. Our Discord channel also underwent several upgrades, strengthening our communication and support systems.
Ongoing and Future Projects: Throughout the year, we completed numerous small and large projects, many of which are still ongoing. As we step into 2025, we already have an extensive list of initiatives to enhance our operations and community engagement further. Reflecting on our success, we’ve outperformed last year’s achievements. We expanded our operations and took key steps to elevate the service we provide to our pilots. We’re confident that we’ll build on this momentum and achieve even greater success in 2025!
A Collaborative Effort: The success of Turkish Virtual is driven by teamwork and collaboration. With 8 dedicated staff members working across various departments and 12 Check Captains, we’ve laid a solid foundation for growth and continuous improvement. Our commitment to working together ensures that Turkish Virtual will keep evolving and excelling in the years to come.
