Other penalties¶
(1) To start the flight by closing the doors before all the passengers have boarded or the entire cargo load has been loaded,
(2) To touchdown with a GS higher than 190 kts (unless there is an emergency)
(3) Not landing to the planned airport in the absence of an emergency (except for the divertion airport reported by the dispatch)
(4) When tail strike actions occur on takeoff and landing due to high nose angle, FDR will charge a penalty.
Descent Evaluation:
As described above, FDR will measure your vertical speed (VS / fps) at the moment of landing when the tires touch the ground and give you an evaluation score based on this value:
- CRASH at a speed of -1000 and worse,
- “Terrible Landing” between -600 fps and -1000, (-100 points)
- “Uncomfortable Landing” between -500 fps and -600, (-50 points)
- “Landing OK” between -300 fps and -500 (0 points)
- “Very good Landing” between -100 fps and -300, (+25 points)
- “Excellent Landing” between 0 fps and -100 will give (+50 points).
In VFR Flights;
- CRASH at a speed of -800 and a worse VS speed,
- “Terrible Landing” between -400 fps and -800, (-100 points)
- “Uncomfortable Landing” between -300 fps and -400, (-50 points)
- “Landing OK” between -150 fps and -300, (0 points)
- “Very good Landing” between -50 fps and -150, (+25 points) “Excellent Landing” between 0 fps and -50 will give (+50 points).
