Landing Gear penalties¶

The landing gear can be lowered to a maximum speed of 280 kts, but must be retracted up to a maximum speed of 240 kts. You can lower the easy-release landing gear with the effect of gravity even at speeds up to 280 kts.

You can give the command to retract the lower-limited landing gear at a maximum speed of 240 kts, otherwise you will be charged a penalty. The tolerances are 284 and 244. After take-off, if there isn’t an emergency, in a situation where the landing gear is not retracted while passing 1500 ft AGL, FDR will charge a penalty (Company procedure).
