Fatal IAS penalties (stall and overspeed)¶

FDR will issue one of the highest penalties if you stall your airplane. A stall penalty is not charged under 50 ft in VFR flights.

In overspeed situations, if you exit the overspeed state within 10 seconds, there will not be a penalty, if the overspeed state continues for more than 10 seconds, FDR will charge a penalty. If the overspeed continues for 30 seconds, FDR will end your flight with a “crash”.
