Emergency penalties¶

FDR will charge a penalty in cases where, the sick passenger cannot be taken to the ambulance by turning off the engine on time; in case of cabin decompression emergency, not descending to 14,000 ft or below within 12 minutes, and not landing within 35 minutes. FDR does not create an emergency on VFR flights.
