Cold / Hot Weather Operations¶
We want to inform you that we have introduced a new regulation on FDR regarding flaps ''Cold / Hot Weather Operations''.
-
If the air temperature (Outside Air Temperature - OAT) is between -10 °C and +30 °C at the landing area, and the flaps are still not retracted when the engines are turned off after landing, it will impose a penalty.
-
If the air temperature is colder than 10 C or higher than +30 C, the flaps can be left extended without the need to retract them on the gate as part of Cold / Hot weather operations. (New rule has been added)
